1st Day – Luxor: Arrival transfer

2nd Day – Luxor • Esna • El-Hagaz: After breakfast, crossing to the west bank, where you will visit the impressive Valley of the Kings with the mortuary temple of Hatshepsut. The two juxtaposed ancient Egyptian colossal statues of the Colossi of Memnon are on your way. On the eastern shore you visit one of the largest temple complexes, which date back to the 12th Dynasty under Sesostis I, the Karnak Temple. Then they’re going to Esna. Arriving at the jetty, the captain aboard his Dahabeya welcome and stands shortly afterwards bound for El-Hegaz a small village north of Edfu in the Nile. South of the ship drops anchor for the night.

3rd Day – El-Hegaz • Edfu • Island Fawaza: In the morning you can enjoy the passing scenery before Edfu is achieved. After visiting the local god Hor-winged sun consecrated Horus temple, it goes on to the island Fawaza which houses a small banana plantation. Here the ship is at anchor overnight.

4th Day – Island Fawaza • Island Bisau: Today is a day to relax and look, because you pass a particularly beautiful Nile and gain an insight into life on the river. Finally, you reach the island Bisau and let the evening with tea, music, hookah and campfire romance end.

5th Day – Island Bisau • Silsila • El-Maniha: After a 2 hour cruise you reach Silsila where an ancient quarry is visited. In the heyday of the 18th Dynasty around 3000 workers were employed here. You will visit the small rock temple King Horemheb. Then bring the Dahabeya peninsula El-Maniha.

6th Day – El-Maniha • Kom Ombo •  Darau • El-Kobania: Early in the morning it says “cast off” towards Kom Ombo, where the powerful double temple of Sobek and Haroeris be worshiped. Next stop of your trip is the town Darau with its famous camel and cattle markets. Immerse yourself in the oriental life off the beaten path; you can experience the haggling over cows and water buffalo roam and the fruit and vegetable market. Continuation to El-Kobania.

7th Day – El-Kobania • Aswan • Luxor: bus ride to the great Aswan Dam. With motorboats you reach the island Agilkia and visit the Temple of Isis at Philae. Then drive in the granite quarries and visit the Unfinished Obelisk. After lunch, aboard the Dahabeya to say goodbye to the ship crew. Return to Luxor, where you will check in again and at dusk visit the majestic temple of Luxor.

8th Day – Luxor: Airport transfer or lengthen your journey.
