Pay a visit to Wadi El-Natrun, the actual birthplace for Christian monasticism. Get excited by visiting Deir al-Baramus, Deir Anba Bishoi, Deir Abu Maqar and Deir El-Suryani.You are going to be taken by a modern air-conditioned vehicle to Wadi El-Natroun, the actual birthplace for Christian monasticism. Basically, there were about 50 monasteries; only 4 have survived into modern times.

Start your trip visiting Deir al-Baramus which is the oldest of the surviving 4 monasteries, and it is considered to be the most isolated.

After that move to visit Deir Anba Bishoy whose body is still in the monastery.

Proceed to Deir Abu Maqar which is the richest monastery now in Wadi El-Natroun as it has more than 100 monks and 600 workers in the extensive farm which spreads in front of it.

End your trip with Deir El-Suryani which is the smallest and most compact of the 4 monasteries.

You will be picked up from Port Said port. After that you will be transferred by an air-conditioned vehicle to Cairo. Pay a visit to the Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus. Then proceed to visit the Great Sphinx, the head of a pharaoh with a lion’s body, which dates back to the time of Chephren; the tour also includes a visit to the Valley Temple, which belongs to the Pyramid of Chephren. After that move to visit the Step Pyramids of Zoser, the world’s oldest major stone structure. It was built in the 3rd Dynasty (around 2630 BC) for King Djoser. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Then proceed to Khan El Khalili Bazaar, one of the most famous and oldest bazaars in the Middle East.Overnight in Cairo.
